Summary | I have worked for 5 years as a student assistant during my studies. I have also been involved in leadership roles in various student clubs as well as campus parliament. Directly after my studies I have worked as a research assistant focusing on teaching bachelor students for six months. I have also worked as a system developer at Funn Narvik where I mainly underwent orientation and started to build a system based on ASP.NET and other Microsoft technologies. I currently work at National Library of Norway in Mo i Rana. I started work in team focusing on Digital Preservation before moving on to team working with Warehouses and Logistics. I have worked on various projects using Java, Kotlin, Spring Framework, Apache NiFi, and others. I have good teaching and leadership skills, I work well in groups as well as alone. I try to find creative and innovative solutions to the problems I meet, while trying my best to not reinvent the wheel. I am a fast learner and am capable of picking up new skills as I go. In my free time I am involved in my crafting and photography hobbies. I mainly knit and crochet, but I dabble in other types of arts and crafts. |

2019.06.01 Design Proposal for a Software Tool for Speech Therapy - Modern Application Structure of Visual Speech Therapy App for Children
UiT
This thesis describes results of study into development of a Visual Speech Therapy tool for use in therapy of speech impediments. It describes what Visual Speech Therapy tools are, their benefits, and what tools are available on the market. Main focus being therapy for children and teenagers with dysarthria, hearing problems, and functional speech impediments. After introducing the Visual Speech Therapy programs it presents technologies available to development of such tools, weighing their limitations and benefits against each other and presenting the best one. It also proposes how such a tool would be developed and used by its end users. Lastly it suggests how to move forward with the project and develop a working product from this proposition.

Hermes, the Warehouse and Logistics Service
Hermes WLS (Warehouse and Logistics Service) functions as a middleware between NLNs (National Library of Norway) catalogues and storage systems. The goal with the service is to unite all the storage systems and catalogues used at NLN with a common interface. Benefits of this approach are: Decoupling of the storage systems and catalogues, which make it easier to change systems if needed. Makes it easier for end users to access material stored in different systems. Storage systems don't need to know which catalogue to inform about changes, as the service will handle this.
